So, I run with a really amazing 10 man group. It's a *very* casual group but we are all achievement whores so basically we spend 2 nights a week trying to get achievements. We don't even call it raiding. Most of us don't run 25's due to life (myself being in school full time, I very rarely get to run 25s) so this is our fun raid time.

So the only achievement left for us to get our drakes is One Light, and we were all ready to GO last night. The plan was to beat on Algalon first, but they had forgotten that the extended raid was from one where he'd already been attempted. Anyway the RL "promised" one of the hunters that we would wait for her to do hard mode Vezax so she could get a cloak off of him. However, we had decided to let Ulduar reset this week. (our raid nights are Tuesday and Sunday btw) so we are going to have to clear up to him anyway. But she refused to kill Vezax to get some Yogg time in and instead made us go to hToC. I got 5 tells from other members saying they agreed with me so I'm not the only one that didn't want to go.

Another thing that's infuriating about it is that Vezax is NOT HARD to clear up to, especially since we don't have any need for the other hard modes, and hard mode Vezax is laughably easy. I think it's kind of crappy to make promises on behalf of the entire group for one person. I've had the same problem with this group in the past, where the majority wanted one thing, and the RL wanted to do something else so she seems to just make up reasons why we can't do *this thing* and have to do *that thing*.

On the plus side, we got tribute to mad skill and I got Perdition. We actually got to Anub with no wipes so I'm convinced that next week will be Insanity.

Hello, ladies! I play a BE priest on Moonguard and was looking for a few of yall that would perhaps be willing to run heroics with me. My luck with PUG dps and tanks has been less than stellar and my guild isn't always available to run with me, or has no need to run.

Okay, so I'm hoping peeps could throw some ideas at me

I'm getting a final commish (srsly) in 2010 of Iroh, Zuko and Toph a few years older and sitting around a table. They would be drinking tea and maybe:

• playing paicho, except instead of painted tiles, each tile would be carved so Toph can tell what goes where on the board too.


• looking at a 3D model!map and planning out where to expand the tea shop franchise to (like maybe into the earth kingdom or to the water tribe XD)...its world domination via tea shops MWHAHAHA


• Zuko is cooking Iroh and Toph food on a hot plate thingy (yes, a Fire Lord's job is never done XD) while they sit back and enjoy


• alternatively, there's no tea, just cactus juice and all three being somewhat high - maybe Toph is finally old enough to drink?


• Zuko lost a game/bet to Iroh and is performing a forfeit. Also, Toph has her bow staff ready to knock him over in another moment :D


• some other board game (something with asian origins maybe?) which would be fun to see the trio playing

Any thoughts of what might work or not? I'd like to get some kind of a concept finalised for the final commission (or maybe offer two or three options to the artist to choose from)

Would love some opinions!
